StrikeCore Opens Presale for the T1 Thunder™

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — August 16, 2026 — StrikeCore LLC has officially opened presales for the T1 Thunder™, the company’s next-generation M4-pattern rifle built around its proprietary DAS™ Direct Actuation System.

The T1 was developed to modernize the familiar M4 platform without abandoning the operating system, component ecosystem, or manual of arms that shooters already know. At the center of the platform is DAS™, a forward, non-reciprocating charging system that gives the operator direct access to bolt actuation from the front portion of the receiver.

A Modern Evolution of the M4 Platform

The T1 Thunder™ combines StrikeCore’s DAS™ technology with precision-machined billet upper and lower receivers, fully ambidextrous controls, a lightweight free-float M-LOK handguard, premium barrel, adjustable gas system, and Cerakote finishes.

The platform is designed to retain broad compatibility with commonly available AR-pattern components and accessories while introducing meaningful improvements in accessibility, handling, and adaptability.

The initial Thunder T1™ lineup includes complete rifles and complete uppers, with additional calibers and configurations available through the StrikeCore Custom Shop™.

Designed Around Real-World Operation

The T1 was developed with Code Amber operations in mind, allowing the operator to keep the chamber clear until the weapon is needed while using the forward DAS™ interface for rapid actuation without reaching for a traditional rear charging handle.

This can be particularly useful in confined environments such as vehicles and aircraft, where access to a conventional rear T-handle may be less convenient.

Suppressed Optimized

Suppressed operation was also a major consideration in the T1’s design.

The rifle’s adjustable gas system allows the platform to be tuned for different ammunition and suppressor configurations. Operators who choose to remove the traditional rear charging handle can install the optional DAS™ Mud Plug in the rear charging-handle opening, helping protect the receiver from mud, dust, sand, and other debris while creating a cleaner, low-profile configuration.

Together, DAS™ forward actuation, the adjustable gas system, and optional Mud Plug provide a streamlined platform designed with suppressed use in mind.

Precision and Performance

The T1 Thunder™ is built around premium barrel components and a rigid billet receiver architecture designed to support consistent performance.

In its 16-inch 5.56 NATO configuration, the T1™ is capable of sub-½ MOA accuracy at 100 yards with appropriate match ammunition and conditions.

Additional configurations, including .300 Blackout, will be available through the StrikeCore Custom Shop™.
